CPC Training
Introduced in September 2008 for drivers of Passenger Carrying Vehicles (PCV)Vehicles (cat. D1, D1E, D, D&E ) and September 2009 for drivers of Large Goods Vehicles (LGV) (cat. C1, C1E,C, C&E ).
This type of training requirement is now legislation for drivers across the European Union to maintain high standards of driving and improve road safety.
Drivers of PCV have to complete CPC before 10th September 2013 and drivers of LGV have to complete CPC before 10th September 2014.
Drivers have to complete 35 hours of training in a five year period. The minimum length of a training course that contributes towards the requirement is 7 hours.
Training can be a full 7 hour course or two 3.5 hour courses, known as modular courses.
DriveSense have a number of Modular Courses to help you meet your requirements, including a 3 day (21 hour) Assessor Course.
All courses have been registered with the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT).

All modular courses are classroom based and can be delivered at our facilities in Maidenhead or at your premises anywhere in the United Kingdom that have meeting room facilities.
